I received a message recently. It read:
“The embodied self mastery work has changed my life. Before, I had little trust that I would be ok. Now I live with my boyfriend and we hardly ever fight because I’m not protecting myself so much. I trust that his intentions are good and I can relax into feeling the goodness. Now we just have fun! I rarely even talk about my past anymore. And I also know that if anything happened and we broke up, I would genuinely be ok. Ten, five, even one year ago, I never would have believed I could feel this secure.”
That is how Georgie describes how she’s feeling in her relationship today. From getting overwhelmed by jealousy, comparing herself to “more beautiful women” and being vigilant in her relationship.
