What are you currently believing about who you should be or what you should be feeling? The mind is constantly trying to fit us into different boxes. The boxes might be changing through your life, but the underlying dynamic of needing to fit one, and beating down on you if you don’t, is the same.
When going through the self mastery process, or other awareness work, the box might have changed to needing to be the hunter, the warrior, of getting results, of feeling gratitude, of accepting, of staying calm and present. This is again the mind wanting to apply ideas to live by. The actual process of changing beliefs and stepping into personal freedom is about meeting and feeling what is alive in you.
