Two of the most common misconceptions about feeling emotions I hear are:
- They are too intense or uncomfortable. (I drown in them, and then nothing good comes out of feeling them.)
- My emotions make me weak. (If it wasn’t for this social anxiety and fear, I would have so many friends and be so successful.)
