How to change your relationship with money, time and attention

24 November 2021

Let’s play with the idea that everything in life is a matter of relating. You relate to the people around you and your job. You relate to the weather or the traffic. You relate to your emotions, your inner judge and your mind. All of them are showing up in a certain way – but what’s your half of the relationship?

In this episode of the Uncover YOU podcast, we take a closer look at your relationship with the currencies you have to make most of your investments; time, attention and money. Do you feel you’re constantly in lack of them? Or are hiding behind judgments of other people that seem to have more of them?

Making investments with your time, attention and money is what will give you more of what you want. But if your relationship to these currencies is one of victimhood, you’re left with little to invest with.

A summary of what I talk about in this episode:

Foundations for this discussion:

  • Everything is relating
  • Time, attention and money are the currencies to make investments with
  • Investments are what you make to get a return; change a direction in life, a pattern etc

What is your relationship with:

  • time?
  • attention?
  • money?

How has that relationship formed an identity that you’re operating from? Are you showing up in a way that money or time likes to hang out with you?

A way to inventory what you invest your time, attention and money:
