There’s a superpower in feeling, being and receiving that has been suppressed and lost in our culture. It can be seen in how we build society in a way that mostly leaves room for thinking and doing, how we numb out to avoid feeling and in how we treat the earth, for example. That’s what I talk about when I say our feminine and masculine are wounded and immature. They are stuck in young versions of themselves where they lash out, numb out, or override, instead of having the chance to develop into all they can be.
Because at their core, they are not in conflict with each other. They enable and lift each other up. One deepens the other’s experience in places they couldn’t go on their own. When they dance together, your experience of life and yourself will deepen and feel rich, full and whole.
Balancing and celebrating the different expressions of these energies will lead to a sense of wholeness. You’ll have a more full experience of who you are and what you can be. Like eating all kinds of foods and flavors, instead of sticking to pancakes and french fries. Connecting with what feeling can ACTUALLY be instead of believing the lies and distortions about it…is much like eating and truly tasting a sun-ripe blackberry for the first time when everyone (and your mind) has told you they were terrible.
In this episode of the Uncover YOU podcast, Tina describes an event that gave her inner feminine a deeply healing experience. Together we break it down to understand the components of that experience from a masculine-feminine dynamic perspective. We also visit her young feminine that didn’t feel safe to trust her feelings and wantings for most of her life.
This episode is part of a series on the podcast where you get to listen to me coaching Tina as she’s moving through my alchemical group program Being Me. If you’re longing for the kind of healing that Tina is experiencing, get on the waitlist for the next round of Being Me, or join the self-study version: BEING ME mini during November.
